I purchased this used approximately five ago. The fella I purchased it from had purchased it new many years before and hardly ever used it- was virtually brand new when he sold it to me. It comes with all the original paperwork and accessories. Included is a Leupold 3VXi scope (I think), 3-9x40. The gun came with the scope when I purchased it, and if you just want the rifle then we can discuss another price. I shot the 2nd biggest buck of my life with this gun a couple years ago. I have it dialed in using 300gr Barnes Original Spitzers, 68grns of N120, and an orange .458 MMP sabot. Of course there are other combinations, and this gun also shoots black powder/black powder substitute as well. I have put many hours of experimentation into finding what I think is best load for the rifle. The sale also includes about 12 Badger Ridge replacement breech plug vent liners and two Arrowhead replacement breech plugs (never been used). There is a crack on the trigger guard which you can see in the pictures. I noticed that a couple years ago and simply used superglue on it. The barrel has a 1:24 twist. Other than the cracked trigger guard, the entire gun is in like-new condition. I am meticulus with my firearms. I love this rifle, but now have a custom .45 smokeless so I don't really need this one any longer.
