Has anyone ever set up there plunger gun with a scout scope set up ? I was thinking it would be a good way to keep the scope clean, easier to prime, ect. If anyone has , please post some pics.

Ive tossed around this idea in my head a few times because i loved the old Rem600 setup in "scout" mode. I think it was Weaver at one time made a mount that used the front scope base holes and the rear site holes on a Rem700 and maybe a Rem600.

That is about the only way i can see to do it affordably. Keeping the scope clean though on a plunger rifle is going to be problematic. Not so much the scope but the lens. Even a quality see thru lens cap is gunna take some punishment from debri and constant cleaning.

Probably better off pursuing this on a sealed action ML.
