Short barrel rifles

I have an old .45 CVA kicking around that I picked up at a flea market.I'm thinking of taking the saw to it.

Go for it ,what are going to lose except some barrel

Hell I just took my rice fast twist 32” 45cal and cut it down to 27” so I could actually hunt with it, a 32” 1” across the flats is a beast to try and shoot of hand

This rifle has about 32.75 inches of barrel measured from the inside of the barrel.Thinking more like 20 inches will do it.
