Needed to sight in my 30-30 for the upcoming Cast Match.
I think I got it pretty close.
This will be the rifle I shoot for the 50yd. plates and the 100yd. Pigs
And maybe the 300yd. Quigley bucket, but may use the 03-A3 for that one.

Nice cloverleaf Hylander !
Never casted my own bullets, but always enjoyed shooting my .30-.30 Marlin. :)

If you don`t have a Winchester 94 in your arsenal ……..  Pre cross bolt safety,  there`s still time.

My 40+ year old Win. 30/30 Trapper always shot really great with cast bullet loads.  I don't cast for it but the commercial bullets do just fine.

You shot that at 50yards with irons???   Fine shooting.

I can barely see the center dot at 50 yards, let alone shoot it like that!!

Thats one of my best 50yd groups, I can't see the enter that great either.
My groups at 50 are usually around an inch.
I did shoot some 2" groups at 100yds. with my 03A3 the other day as well  :)

Using my Savage M99A .308 - which, sadly, I no longer have - groups of near 1" at 100 yards with my cast bullet load were common.  A 6X scope made this possible.
