How long does the vent liner lasts?

I am thinking I got 35 to 50 shots before excessive wear. As I now only sight in yearly which is only 1 or 2 shots to verify and then 1 or 2 in the season I have actually forgotten for sure how long. At my rate I could go a decade. In the beginning when I was trying every combo I had to occasionally change them.

I got SMI barrel for H&R

I shoot 65 grains 4198 with 250 grain .452 cal FTX bullet, and their recommened Harvester Sabots.

Performance is reliable with 2-7 x 32 Mueller Scope

Using rest achieved 1.75" Group at 175 yards.

Not a range commando, just an Ohio deer hunter.

SMI was last on this forum four years ago so I suspect he won’t answer. But maybe someone here knows something about the business.
