While bow fishing for carp in Indiana last Friday night (with lights) we saw several stripers in a flat shallow neck. We use a reasonably quiet Honda EU 2000 and 4 - 350 watt lights. The light and noise didn't seem to bother them as some were seen right next to the boat. These fish were in water that was pretty murky and only about 30 inches deep or less.
My qusetion is this - Is it possible to go back this week and catch some of them if they are still there. If so what would be the best way. Live bait with a cork or bobber? Casting?
I have never fished for stripers so any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks Dave
