I have a 3-9X40 worldclass on my Savage .223 that has been on the gun for 23+ years and holds zero. Granted this is a very low recoil gun, paid $50 for the scope back then @ Wally world. I put a Redfeild on 50 cal last year thats my thoughts.

I have a few Tasco scopes, one 3x9x32 got me to a 200 yd 5/8" group off a truck hood in a Mauser 30-06 with a handload. The only Tasco I ever hated is a 3x9x50 World Class that for some reason is completely wrong for my eyes. No other scope I ever owned has messed with my eyes like this one unit. I took it off the gun and actually threw it away! Best low price scope I've found lately was a Cabela's model for a 17HMR. Besy glass I've seen in a scope for years, super quality.
