I finally have been able to get out and shoot my HB Savage. I just wanted to thank Randy and others on this sight for all the valuable info. Randy's DVD was a big help in getting started. 42 grains 5744, 250 Hornady XTP and MMP sabot shot amazing groups. The lack of recoil was also a nice surprise. We'll see how it performs on the real thing this weekend for the NY muzzleloader season!

Glad things are going smooth-- your change of precipitation is unknown, but your likelihood of extreme carnage seems very high. :shock:
