Shooting the Mich. B.P. target rifle state championship. Beautiful weather. Bright sun, 84 degrees. Fishtailing headwind varying from our 10:00 to 2:00. The 200 yard and 300 yard matches went fine. The 600 yard matches were shot in the afternoon when the mirage really got going. If you were shooting in the iron sight class, the target looked like a fuzzy ball of lint in the aperture. You could watch the mirage or the wind flags or try to do both, then shoot. When you shoot under match conditions, You get what mother nature gives you. X
