Traditions Breech Plug

I am looking to purchase a Traditions breech plug A1446 or A1445........Can not seem to find one anywhere, Traditions say they may have or be ship to dealers next summer, but I have tried to find a shop that might have one in stock but any legitimate shop on the Web does not have them.

2004 Pursuit Pro …came with the a1445 breech plug.

Are you just looking for a backup or trying to get your rifle to work again?

The one I have is showing wear, but yes a back up or use the old for back up …..I have a hunt in September, and will be shooting it before then and don’t want to end up with a bad breech plug for the hunt, and really don’t want to buy another muzzleloader because I can’t get a breech plug. Apparently I should have bought a couple years ago.

I ask because I have an older style A1445 that came with a gun busters parts I got off of gun broker. Replaced it with a new A1446 I had on hand. I would be willing to give it to you as I have no use for it. Thing is I will be going out of the country and not back until Mar 29th or so. I'll try and get a pic of it posted.

Pics,

The crud around the collar seems very soft and came right off with a Q tip. Edges look a little rounded but serviceable. I coud run a pic through the flash hole with no problem and can see daylight through it

is it worn where the primer goes , the hole?…..I am thinking mine is in better shape than I thought…….I have only fired around 38 times,

Primer pocket looks normal, dirty but normal. No idea how many shots have been through it.

No rush, its not going anywhere so don't feel as if you need to take it or lose it. I'll hang onto it and if you find a new one then good, but this will be available should you need it.
