Trouble loading the Hornady 385

I have the tradition vortex ultralight Northwest Magnum and when I try to load 385 it just doesn't seem to want to go down the barrel I get it to go flush with the end of the muzzle and that is yet I've used a short starter tap on it good and it just doesn't seem to want to go. What rifling does come in contact with it you can really see that it's cut bruising the bullet from the rifling
