Upcoming turkey season....

Believe it or not, turkey season will be creeping up on us sooner than we think. Here in Massachusetts my dad and I hunt together almost every day before I have to go to work.

Our season opens on the 4th Monday in April. So, right after the April school vacation( how unfair that is) we get to pursue the birds for a month. We can take two bearded birds during the season.

Missouri's season runs April 24-May14 with a two bird limit. I've got vacation scheduled for the first two weeks as usual. This will be my 14th spring season that I've taken a couple weeks off to turkey hunt. LOVE it! :wink:

PA opens 4/29. I plan to take the first week off to hunt. Got a new Cody slate to try this year. Sure sounds sweet!

Illinois Southern Zone Season Dates

1st Monday, April 3 - Friday, April 7
2nd Saturday, April 8 - Thursday, April 13
3rd Friday, April 14 - Wednesday, April 19
4th Thursday, April 20 - Wednesday, April 26
5th Thursday, April 27 - Thursday, May 4

I have landowners permits - So I get to hunt all 5 seasons, if my marriage can take it. :lol:

April 1 youth hunt.

April 8 - 29 (till noon)

May 1 - 13 (all day)

3 bird limit.

Hunt daylight to dark with a (2) bearded turkey limit.........Can't wait! :yeah:
