wow that FTX is one hell of a shooting bullet!
Have you ever tried stiffer wads like the ones track of the wolf sells? You can get 1000 of them for around $12 shipped. They may help out with the groups or just something to experiment with.

Yes I have. I have them for my 50's, but I just picked up some Ox yoke here. I may try the others in the 45 to see if it matters.
The FTX were inside of an inch & I was very happy with them. I would think it would be a great deer bullet.

Well I see you made it out today and like always great shooting, specially with the SST'S 225 gr., a new for me to try. I really appreciated that 
. But you still have to try the 200 gr. so we are even. Great shooting.

Nice shooting and thanks for posting! Looks like all the Hornady's (FTX, SST and XTP's) shoot well.
