Velocity question....

I do not have access to a chrony.

Looking for some approximate numbers for my loads.


- 100 grains T7 (2 pellets) and a 250 grain SST.

- same load with a 300 grain XTP.

Above loads use Rem ML primers.



- 90 grains BH209 with a 300 grain XTP.

BH load uses CCI 209 primer.

The T7 loads are shot through my Prohunter.

The BH209 load is shot through my Omega X5.

Both are used on whitetails, 150 yards MAX.

Any other advice on the above?

Some of the sites will list velocities with those particular loads. Check BlackHorn and Hornady.

If those are accurate, those are EASY 200 yard power loads. A good bullet and a well placed shot and your eating venison. Good luck.
