warne rings

Getting ready to buy a new scope for my elite 50. Probably going to buy either a Leupold 2-7x33 or a bushnell 3-9x40. Have recently bought warne bases. Looking to purchase some warne rings. I would like to keep the scope as close to the barrel as possible, is their anyway I could use low rings or must I get the mediums.

I have one of my elites set up with a Bushnell 4200 Elite 2.5-10-40mm and warne low rings, but I have Weaver Grand Slam bases. I beleive the these bases are taller than the Warne bases. I still have enough barrel clearence to get the scope caps, about 3/8"

You should have room with the low rings. :wink: I would go with the Leupold. :yeah:
