Was out patterning a new 870 Remington on Sat and I was wondering if someone could tell me what kind of load is "MAX DRAM". Usually it says on the box what your shooting but these Remington 2 3/4's said max dram. THANKS TO ALL WHO REPLY.................

Dram's was a measure of blackpowder. Something that was never removed when they switched to smokeless powder in shotshells.

1 dram = 0.25 us tablespoon

Who knows how it equates to weight as it is a volume measure.
