With slug season coming this saturday, took my prohunter out to burn the load from early season and make sure it was still zeroed. I'd usually do this sooner, but the weather here has been very mild. I'd also sealed the end of the barrel with some black tape and wanted to see if the tape made any difference.
At 100 yards, first shot hit the lower right edge of the 1" square. 2nd shot hit the top right edge of the square. One click of the dial to move it left 1/4", and the 3rd shot was parrallel to the 2nd shot by 1/2" to the left.
I'd say she was ready to go. Interested to see how the 200 gr shockwave performs on deer.
