Straight liver is a little too strong for me. I had it with tomatoes and rice and it was quite good, It helped neutralize the taste.., and i actually enjoyed it. We have always cleaned and cut into pieces boiled then pickeled the heart in apple cider viniger with onion and it is a nice orderve with cheese. I have also heard of baking the heart or stuffing it and it has good reports.I am helped by the handy pamplet , VENISON, the choice of Kings by D.W. Poulos to get the most out of my venison.
