Bullet was shot through carpet, plywood, and into the bottles. Bottles were set out 25 yard from the rifle. Rifle was loaded with 80 grain Blackhorn powder.

Bullet went through every bottle, was caught by the stack of magazines.

Well, that's surprising. With that exposed lead tip, I expected a bit more expansion than that.

Bonded bullets need speed for best expansion. I have used 40cal Fury bonded in an sml at around 2460fps mv with great results on deer. wish they had small hollowpoint bullets similar profile to a Barnes 275xpb.

Funny, Nosler says bonding lowers expansion thresholds requiring less speed to expand properly.

Another small HP failure, most like this fail in your 50grV test .
- this 80grV is 17-1800fps.
Thanks
