Went out for the first time this year yesterday evening but the wind was rippin too bad. So, I went out again this morning, but over slept so I didnt make it into the stand until * a.m. 
At 9:30 a.m. a nice fat doe come strollin through and stopped 15 yards in front of my stand, turned broadside just pretty as you please. I double lunged her and she piled up 35 yards away. I've got the bucherin done and everythings in the freezer except for the tenderloins...which will be served up tomorrow morning with eggs, biscuits and gravy.
