Well, I decided on the direction I was going on my build. I will take a Remington 700 .243 youth rifle my son outgrew a long time ago and rebarrel it with a Lothar Walter heavy Palma .45 call barrel with a 1-18 twist. Still need to pick a stock for it. I will post pictures as it progresses.

Lothar makes a really nice barrel IMO. The SS they use is a bit better than some. Its not your typical 416R.

It's been a busy summer, I just got the barrel and brake installed, still not sure on stock yet, I placed it in an old cheap SPS stock for the picture.
