I quickly shot a few groups with the Parker/Traditions 275gr T-Shock XLR today.. I currently have my ULA sighted in with a 300gr Bonded Shockwave and 40gr SR-4759. This combo give right at 2100fps and is dead on at 100yds.. So today I tried the T-Shock XLR and 42gr SR-4759 and here is the group:

This group was just over 1 inch and is ALSO dead on at 100yds. Velocity average was 2228fps. I carried another chrono downrange and fired a couple of shots and got a bc of .198. That's a little better than the 250 SST and really right up there with the 300gr SST. This nice group sure gives me some ideas about what to shoot a hog with in a couple of weeks!

I also tried 65gr of XXXX in my laminate Savage and it wasn't so hot.. I also tried both 42gr of SR-4759 and 42gr N-110 and here are those groups:

Neither really not THAT bad and may in fact shoot better with a different charge and a little more cooling between shots!

This rifle is zeroed with a 250gr Bonded Shockwave at 100yds and of course the T-Shock doesn't hit close to that load and I didn't mess with the zero for the Shockwave...

This one may end up being a decent bullet!
