This mornings hunt

Went out with my pup, my brother and his dog this morning for a nice little hunt. Managed to get on to this lady here. After the shot I lost her completely, fortunately my gsp pup Ellie was on song and did her first find by herself, wouldn't have found it otherwise!
Nice bit of meat and also going to do her as a pedestal mount to accompany my bbiaf stag from last year.
Again the Bergers did a stellar job.

Very happy!

Beautiful dogs you have there...

Thats a nice large deer. It looks like you and friends will be eating well. Don't forget the dogs like theirs medium rare.. :mrgreen:

Thanks guys,
it does look it I'm the pic because I'm sitting a ways back from her because of the log but this one is fairly small. Just a two year old. All the better eating though!
