Any of you older members remember the Bullshop conical pic of the selection they offer.

See below, thanks to dbowling for sharing this pic. I thought he had .410 and .540 listed too, but not on this one...

I pieced the older picture together using pictures of the bullets he was making at the time. I updated it as things changed. I no longer know if he still produces all the bullets shown in the pic above or if he might even produce more types for muzzleloaders? Those pics were always my creation. :)

Sabotloader, I went back and forth with him for 2 or 3 weeks because I really wanted to try his bullets. He started out with he had had a White in the past and The RCBS 40-400 shot well for him. I was looking for something very similar to the White bullet I have so went back and forth trying to describe it. Finally just sent him a pic of the bullet. Below is the response I received.

I am sorry but I don't think we can help you. The problem is that all our 40 cal designs are intended for cartridge rifles not ML rifles. The difference is that bullets designed for ML have to be bore dia and will have very short ogive as shown in your pic. Bullets for cartride guns are of groove dia and can have a much longer ogive at bore dia. A cartridge bullet design with long ogive will have the ogive section unsupported in a ML which can cause slump ( bending ) on powder ignition. The bullet you have pictured is designed for ML at bore dia with a short ogive and about a 60% meplate.

I then ask him about shooting the RCBS 40-400 that he said he shot in his White and received no answer. So there the story I got, which leaves me trying to get into casting to make my own probably. Don't want to but seems these bullets are hard to find.

You gotta do what you gotta do! Interested in what you might come up with. Have you talked to Dave @ No Excuse by any chance?
