240 Grain TC Cheap Shot

This bullet was provided by Triple Se7en to shoot through the test. Range was 25 yard. Powder charge was 80 grain Blackhorn.

The bullet flattened the first jug, damaged the second some, and was caught in the third jug. There in the third jug were 3 pieces. The large piece weighs 211.4 grain.

I have quit a few packages. I wouldn't be afraid to use them on deer.

I have killed many deer with these. They do much better than the 240 grain XTP bullet.

I have used the cheep shots on deer they worked as well as higher priced sabots.

Being a lead (are they pure or an alloy?) hollow point makes them perfect for lower speed ML use, imo.

Ram2, I think they are the same just packed differently. I have 2 or 3 packs but I've only used them for initial sighting in. Some day I'll have to hunt with them.

I killed my first ML deer with one of these bullet/sabots. In a TC White Zmountsin Carbine over 80 gr 777.

Where the bullet is placed in the animal is way more important than bullet performance. at least IMHO.
Put a hole in the vitals and it will die.

Never had a dead one complain I use cheap bullets.

I use them all the time to kill squirrels, I just shoot right next to them and the lead spatter concussion drops them

In my Knight DISC rifle, the cheap 260 gr Knight bullets and 240 gr Cheap Shots shoot better than any “premium” bullet I’ve ever tried, but I had to use the black crush rib sabots to get them to shoot the best.
