short distance, only a tad over 25 yards.
here's a 5 minute shoot/load/shoot/load/shoot vid from that same day (yesterday morning) to kinda show my load process. first shot is where i busted the water bottle, then i proceeded to tear up the small wood board target that was to the left of the bottle (in the other vid). a medium load of 60 grains swiss 3f down the tube and a few 3f grains in the pan, 323 grain .600" pure lead balls that i cast, .012" patch strips lubed with lehigh valley patch lube. i use a fixed powder measure i made from one of my .45-70 brass. no cleaning 'tween shots. in fact, the only cleaning i did for the 3 dozen or so shots with that smoothie was initially to remove the storage oil.
