This message is for eekjellander. I see that you are selling your #40-225M mold. Are you going to purchase the #40-290S mold to replace it as a heavier choice to be shot out of the light blue .45/.40 Harvester sabot?

My calculations show an approximate weight in pure lead of 300.944 grains for the #40-290S mold.

What kind of muzzle velocities were you achieving with the #40-225M bullet?

Thanks

Yup bought that one too ,300 gr is like the smaller one Im selling they both shoot great in the light blue 45/40 sabot and the 50-40 dark blue isnt shabby either in the CVA 50 cal (pistol ). I'm surprised there is not more interest /casters on this site . compared to store bought I find these superior in price and killing power plus they are adjustable BHN for custom penetration on game /range (bullet for all seasons/reasons) /Ed
