I've used the MMP orange sabot with remington and sierra .458 bullets with BH209. I use the Nosler boat tails in 6mm, 7mm, .270 & .308 for deer and elk. They seem to get progressively tougher as they go up in caliber. I tried the.358-225 grain in a Whelen at 2600fps and while they were vvery accurate, they punched right throgh deer with minimal expansion. I don't think I'd try the larger ballistic tips at low velocity. Of course YMMV.
