I’ve had this .416 Shilen barrel blank sitting in my gun room for several years and I’m finally thinking about doing something with it. There’s not much info out there about.416 muzzle loaders. I know Swinglock makes one but that’s about all I can find on them. What bullets are available that could be full form sized, the barrel is a 1-14” twist so it ought to be able to handle a good variety of bullet weights. I’m wanting to hear from anyone who has any experience with a .416 muzzle loader to get as much information as I can. Thanks!

I figured it would be a full form
Sizing operation. Looks like Parker makes a 300gr bullet that ought to be amazing at .625 g1 bc.

had this built 5 years ago. Shoots .408 parkers sabotless and big lead both

Most guys with 40s atm are running more like a 408 Cheytac barrel as far as dimensions. So most of the guys making bullets are geared towards .400-.402ish bullets. I bet Fury could do a 408 if you asked.
