The Knight Opinion Post got me thinking of an old breech plug I had purchased for a LK-93. It is a bare primer 209 plug for Knight's plunger guns. It holds the primer in place with a magnet. The plug has a dome powder end. I don't recall much about shooting with it and didn't stay with it for long. As I recall, the domed end didn't work well with the pellets I was shooting. I can't remember much and this was well before I started keeping notes. I also seem to remember they may have been some issues with the magnet not always retaining the primer.

Does anyone have experience with this plug? I've been exclusively shooting powder for a long time and wonder if it has any potential. I may have to try it out again. I wish it had a recessed powder end and maybe a removable vent liner, but don't have the skills or tools to make it happen. Thanks as always for any responses.

Sorry for the horrible pictures.

IIRC......the domed plug was designed to reduce blowback.
