Base Rings help again

Guys,

I am having problems getting the correct base and ring set up for my savage muzzleloader. (Is mine something different?) I ordered a set of talley and they came through with a round rear and front base set.

My rifle has a flat rear receiver section and a round front receiver section.

Does your Savage not have the Accutrigger? If not, it is an older model. The newer Accutrigger models have a receiver that is round both front and back.

That's exactly what the problem is you have the pre accu-trigger model. You need to contact Talley and see if they have one that is flat to fit the receiver.
