Best Bullet Mould for Gm .45 LRH

Not into paper patching, Yet I do cast.

Whst is a good availabie Mould I can purchase? Just got the used Renegade,barrel is new or like new. Excellent bore as I’m not sure if it’s been shot.

1/30 twist I believe. I’ve got a 405gr .45/70 Mould I can use and sizers.

I’m just looking for info on what others have used.

I shoot a 330 Gould and 45-340i in my 45 lrh. Ive got a 405 mold but havent shot any in the lrh yet. I bet they will shoot great in it.

My mistake. Thats the other that i shoot. Mine drop at 345 grains weight, not 340.

The gould is a great shooter in all my rifles. I modified my mold pin so i can cast hp or flat nose.

What diameter is that? Non paper patched , correct?

My goulds drop at .454. I size them to .451 for my renegade lrh. .453 for my accura. .4515 for my knight disc. Same for the 340i

Im going to get the 40-365i to shoot in a sabot, from my lrh and a couple others.

I’m using the 40-265i in my Hoyt .40’s and it’s a great little bullet. They are sweet rifles. The 340i has been good in the LRH.

I have some 405s from a Mould… I can cast em with soft lead… normally they are for my 45/70. I think they will irk with the 1/30twist.

So here she is. Got it from a buddy who got it on trade.
I ran a patch and it’s spotless. He stated he never shot it, And I don’t think it’s ever been. Think It will need a break in- I’ll get that done and try to develop something that will shoot out to 200 yards. Then get a fiber optic insert set up for the front globe

I have the Lee Already, ill size it down and I’ll probably try that with Lube.
