I decided to chrono the FPB 350 grain with 110gr BH209 out of my 28" Omega today. It's the best grouping combo out of my Omega so far. 1800 fps +/- 10 fps! I recovered some of the slugs at 100 yds and I can say these bullets are just as soft as PB's. Only the base was recognizable. One thing I hadn't realized until today was FPB's are suitable for QLA muzzleloaders only. They are very difficult to start in square bores. As good as this load performed in the Omega, the KRB7 gets the nod for Elk this muzzy season. I'm shooting 444 gr. flat point PB's with 120 grs. of Pyro P and getting 2" 3-shot groups, including the 1st shot from a clean bore! BTW, the 444gr PB clocked at 1500fps.
