Boresnake for a ML?

I've used boresnakes before with great success in my regular rifles, but Im new to black powder. From what I've been reading, cleanup's a lot different than just your regular gun.

I noticed that Boresnake makes a model for the 50cal, but is it worth the investment? Or should I stick with the more traditional way of cleaning with the swabs/hot water/etc..

Unless you get a inline stay away from the bore snake . I use water and patches on all my ml's .
