breaking in new rifle?

Its only like 10-12 shots to cure it. More probably wont hurt a thing. I dont use anything aggressive in my bore until after i see the initial results. Doing so with Bore Coat will just remove some of it.

Cure it first, clean it well after and see what you get before doing anything else.

What is the best way to break in a new rifle barrel?
I use valve grinding compound, start with course ground ( don’t overdo it ) finish up with fine ground, takes out the rough edges and makes the bore smooth as a baby’s butt
