Bullet Sizing

I am trying to wrap my head around sizing dies and resulting bullet sizes. I have a Lee .503" and the bullets come out .501" What am I doing wrong, as other sizers work pretty much same -- not matching the size stamped on the die.

You are doing nothing wrong.
Some of my dies size different to what is stamped.

Ive had that happen with Lee dies. Ive sanded/polished a couple out to the sizes i wanted. But im saving up now to get an adjustable die.
