My nephews friends/brother has a damn nice Winchester 1300? pump 12g shotgun. The stock was beechwood I believe its called? And as usual, ugly color of stain which looked super cheap on such a damn good shooting shotgun. I actually tried to talk him into trading for my shotgun after I shot his LOL, super accurate out to 40 yards with common 7 1/2 bird shot.

He originally wanted me to dip it, but after seeing that wood, I said hellllll no! That sucker woulda swelled up to the point a new stock would have been needed lol.

So I gave him old school camo pattern. I think it turned out pretty good. I am dropping the lighter tan color as it looks to white in the pictures, but it will add some good contrast when the sun is hitting the stock. Hes a 20 year old kid that just wanted to get rid of the ugly wood and go with camo.
