cleaning the barrel

wondering why when i clean my disc elite ml barrel the rod gets stuck after about the third time down. usually after i shoot i run a wet patch down then follow that up with a clean patch(this is when i notice the rod is harder to pull out, but still needs another patch run through it) run the third patch down and i cannt get the rod out. i end up taking the bolt and plug out and run the rod all the way through.

what am i doing wrong? why does the rod get stuck so bad i cann't pull it out?

Perhaps you are using a cleaning patch that is a bit too large or too thick. It apparently will continue to go inward so it would seem the patch is bunching up on the jag when you withdraw it. A different jag or a smaller patch might solve the problem.
