Didn't have enough time to mess with it before the General Season, but got a screaming good deal this evening, and I couldn't resist.
I have had the CVA Scout V2 TD in .450 Bushmaster for a little over 2 years now. This one will be it's little brother.
Picked up some Vortex Viper Pro Series 30mm Low Rings to mount up my Vortex Viper 2.5-10x44 scope. Should be able to get that done this weekend, and weather permitting, maybe pinch some paper. Might even take it out for our anything legal goes muzzleloader season (CWD Zone), or for the late antlerless for the real test?
Man, is this thing ever short (20" barrel), compared to the .450. 35" overall length. Very manuverable. Would make an excellent tree stand or blind rifle. Trigger is excellent. I sure hope it shoots as good as my .450!
Could also be converted into a nice light squirrel rifle muzzleloader.
