YEAH!!!!!!!

My friends found some Goex BP for me 3F & 4F
This will be used in my Lyman Deerstalker Flintlock 1:48 twist 50 cal

Can you guys help me with load and bullet considerations and also how my 4F to put in the pan and things like that.

I don't have experience with the Lymans, but have shot flintlocks a good bit over the last 20+ years.

Most new shooters put way too much 4F in the pan, IMO. I fill the pan about 1/3 full and keep the powder back away from the flash hole some. Don't cover the flash hole; you want sparks to shoot into the flash hole and ignite the charge. You don't want a pile of priming powder to burn like a fuse into the flash hole. Have fun.

Hey saxman--I just noticed this is in the Inline Forum. Try the question in the Sidelock/Traditional Forum...

Try usin' yer 3F in the pan,,,as you would 4F. You'll find 3F doesn't gather as much moisture as 4F will,,,and it ignites just as fast.
