Handy hand drill

I've heard people talking about using a hand drill to clean the flash channel in the breech plug. I thought I'd share today what I found to use.
It's a file handle from Home Depot for $10. It has an adjustable clamp to hold files and it will also hold a drill bit tightly.

That will work. I drill a hole in a 3/4" dowel with the bit and epoxyed it in place.

I use a pin vise which is small enough to go in the little box I keep in my range bag.

I used my wife’s steam cleaner last time I cleaned and the ignition channel appears perfectly clean.

Same here as Bronko but I use 1/2" dowel, works fine and is small enough to go in possibles bag

I use an aluminum pin vise that is sold at welding stores as a torch tip cleaner. It comes with several bits specific to torch tips, but will use any small number drill bit. The bits can be stored in the pin vise.
