Shiloh built the rifle for the movie, I’m not sure what model it was but it was chambered in .45-110.

I haven’t weighed it, but it’s pretty heavy, I doubt the recoil is bad.

That's a very nice rifle.
Too bad you have to wait 'til Spring - it' going to seem like a lifetime.
Recoil shouldn't be bad. I have a Ruger No. 1 in 45-70. It's not painful to shoot.
