hay, im all new to blackpowder. just picked up on cva optima. im lovin it so far. im here to just learn more about blackpowder hunting and some shooting tips.

WElcome Big Bert..... I'm in Michigan also...... live in the Thumb. Been hunting the Muzzleloader season? I've been out. Sat in the blind late night, saw one deer ..... to dark to shot. The Turkeys are thick. I have as group roosting on my property. I heard all kinds of racket just before dark. The turkeys were flying up into some trees on the property to roost. I hope they are still here come spring.

thaks, ya i have been out around 4 times now and havnt seen much, im from the fenton howell area. about 30 min south of flint, not a whole lot of movement but still hoping for the best.
