Hello from SoDak! I’ve had a muzzleloader for over 16 years that I built from a kit- an Investarms/Cabela’s Hawken, but have only since September of 2022 become really interested in it. My boss gave me an NEF Sidekick that he got cheap on an auction- and took my first muzzleloader season deer with it on December 31st. Like many things in the shooting & reloading community/hobby- it’s been both frustrating and fun, at the same time, figuring things out! Still trying to get my hawken shooting accurately and reliably enough to use it to take a deer. Both .50 cals.
