be sure and take a look at the nikon 2-7x prostaff scope. imo, for the price, its the best thing you can put on a muzzleloader in terms of clarity, brightness, and eye relief. cost is about $120-130. i also have a bushnell banner which is a nice scope, but doesnt even seem to be in the same league as the prostaff in terms of eye relief and clarity (maybe not even in the same sport . . ..). leupold makes an outstanding scope, starting at about $200. but ive really been attracted to these nikon prostaffs because they are such a good scope for the money.
