Anyone have any tips on using a fixed power scope? In my home state you cannot have any magnification on a muzzleloader. I recently mounted a fixed 1x (which is legal) on my inline. The problem I'm having is with the parallax and getting it dialed in. I had a fixed power on a high power rifle years ago and had the same problem. Thanks in advance for any help

Set the scope up as you need, then loosen the lock ring on the eye piece. Find a target at the distance the parallax shows up and adjust the eye piece in or out until the image is clear. Then tighten the lock ring down again.

Old thread - but who currently makes a zero/1x scope for the muzzleloader world?

I know NIghtForce has one, but not tracking many others.

You can find vintage weaver 1x scopes on EBay occasionally. A good one sells in the $50 range. Good luck.
