Hey everyone, muzzle loaders are very new to me and I want to learn. About 6 months ago I did a little horse trading with my BIL and acquired a Thompson Center Thunder Hawk and quickly learned about #11 primers when I had a mis fire on a nice 8pt. I have since converted it to a 209 primer. I also came across a Traditions 209 Sporter for dirt cheap. They both needed a GOOD cleaning which was part of the fun. The Thompson claimed a doe this year as well as a miss. Looking forward to learning from here.
