Funny I have a friend out West fighting these, here have a few around I'm not worried about. Here I'm fighting Bush Honeysuckle.

That is the Biggest bloom I've seen.

Jonathan that's probably the largest one I have seen in Colorado, they are the best damn border around your yard, under windows or places you want to keep folks out of.

The best part is the pointed spear; you get one of them in you, your going to the hospital. The more you dig on them, the deeper they go in.

We have used yucca bushes under the windows around the house and the store (never had anyone try and craw around them), next was rose bushes and barberry - nobody likes picky things ...  :Questuon:

cherry county just a little east of me is covered in yucca that is wild and has green flowers. love them in flower. a word of warning, a native american taught me that rattle snakes rest and sleep next to yuccas. i would have to at times walk a mile to a patients house to do a medical visit. they always told me never ever walk close to the yuccas. i know ive told every one before a couple of time. the best investment i ever made was good ham and cheese sanwiches fed to a 1/2 wolf 1/2 dog. he would always know when i was their and would escort me to his masters house who was wheel chair bound. that wolf dog would not let anything near me or he would tear them apart. all because of ham and cheese on whole wheat. he liked them as much as i did. if i ever was alone and lived very very rural, i would have a wolf malamute cross dog and feed him well and let him sleep with me. i wouldnt need a gun with him around. their were bad dogs between my truck and the wolf dogs masters house but i never worried, i was protected to the max. all it cost was a ham and swiss on whole wheat. miss that dog. a local gal got a malamute, pyrnesse cross dog. she lives rural also. that dog layed in her drive way and she never ever has to worry about bad dudes,  sorry for the missspellings as the computer has a mind of its own and wont let me correct them today. love to shove my fist through the screen but it would do no good. might makes right. some times.
