Two more deer down to my PH shooting a 200 gr shockwave in front of two 777 magnum pellets.
Medium size doe at 12 yards. Shot was right behind the shoulder, complete passthrough and she dropped on the spot. Nice exit hole. Was curious if the bullet would blow up at that range, but not a problem. Great penetration.
9 point at 80 yards. He was slightly quartered towards me. Shot hit right behind the shoulder and exited around the last rib on the opposite side. He went abuot 15 yards, then dropped. Pics will be posted in the muzzleloader success story sometime today.
Don't know if a bullet could perform any better, especially when it will consistently group around 1" @ 100 yards.
