Got out last Thursday for one last chance to harvest a deer during Michigan's muzzleloading season.
Shot this big doe at about 75 yards with my White Ultra Mag with a 460 gr lead bullet ahead of 90 gr. T7.

Had a tough tracking job due to small blood trail, but she's in the freezer now.

She ran about 300 yards over long grass, pine needles and a few scattered oak leaves. Made for a tough tracking job when all I was seeing were small drops of blood on the sides of blades of brown grass and needles.

Wow, what a doe!! Congrats on finding her too! I have never had a deer go that far with all the deer I have killed with my Whites. Sounds like you only got one lung. They will move at the shot been there this year too, glad you found her! 8)
